Hi everyone - I need to make a sheet cake to feed 25 people - what size would you all recommend? Should I do single or double layer? Also, what size are smash cakes for babies, typically? 4" round?

Thanks!

I have that a single 1/4 sheet(9x13) serves 45. That is a party size serving 1 1/2 x 2. So it would definatly serve 25. My smash cakes are carved from 6", just because I do not have a 4". At the grocery store, they are a 4" round.

I also use the 9 x 13 for 25 people. That is the most popular size i've done. Also, I have a 6" pan, so I just use that for the smash cake, 1 layer. Also, the 9 x 13, one layer. Unless they want to pay for 2 9 x 13 plus the extra filling and icing. Hope this helps.

Thank you all so much! I had gotten confused, looking at all the different serving charts. I will go with the 9x13.
