Since weddings are so near and dear to our hearts I couldn't resist sending these pics.

Look familiar? Unfortunately I wore the first one in a gawd awful neon baby puke green!!! Guess they thought it highlighted my red hair.

How about you.....

I didn't keep the picture from one of my bridesmaid's dresses. I was larger than the rest of the bridesmaids. The bride picked mauve (1990's style) satiny, lacey things from the local JCPenny outlet store. The only one close to my size was 2 sizes too small. The rest of the girls found ones that fit. I figured I"d be able to match the color and add a piece down the side. It matched in color and shine, but the pattern was off just a bit. No one noticed if I kept my arms down. The whole day I walked around like my arms were glued to my side from the shoulder to the elbow. Pictures were great, but I felt like a goof!
And who ever said bridesmaids dress could be worn again is full of beans -I had 4 of them hanging in my closet before they went to the goodwill box.

I have 4 really pretty bridesmaids dresses and one --not so much.
3 of the pretty ones I was pregnant for so I could never where them again even if I wanted to. The other pretty one was altered a little to tight and I had to be really careful all night not to breath in to much air at once or risk busting a seem icon_lol.gif For my cousins wedding the color was fushia. Which goes great with my hair thumbsdown.gif Wouldn't have been too bad but the dresses were bought from Victoria Secrets and were VERY form fitting. Came about 3 to 4 inches above the knee when standing. I graduated from high school one Thursday, drove to Alabama on Friday, wedding was on Saturday. The dress was waiting for me with matching dyed shoes that shrank 1/2 a size once dyed. Had to curl my toes under to not fling the shoes off my feet when walking down the isle. Oh, when I tried on the dress the scoop neckline came just below my bra! I mean to say, that my Whole chest was exposed. It hit right where my underwire was. icon_cry.gif I ended up washing and throwing the dress that was cotton in the dryer to shrink and thank goodness it did! It shrank to right were my bra started. WHEW! STill more skin exposed than I like but not as bad as before. They have video of the groomsmen I walked down the isle with just looking down my dress top. It didn't help he was like 6ft tall and I am 5'2". (I can't complain much about that dress though because one of the girls had a baby just 2 weeks before and had to wear that form fitting thing--I felt so bad for her)
