Hello CC,
I have an order for two dozen cupcakes due Friday. I plan to box them up in a 1/2 sheet box with a board, but I'm concerned about the cupcakes sliding around and bumping into each other. Does anyone have any tricks for keeping the cupcakes in place but still allowing the customer to easily remove them for her party display?
Many thanks!
Lauren
I think you can buy inserts - some cake supply stores have them and some don't. I would like to know other people's suggesions too because I just did this last Friday and yes, they moved around a little in the box (good thing the order was more of a favor for a friend).
How about placing some of that gipper shelf lining over the board in the box. I started using that stuff for everything. On my turntable, in my cake carriers and on the floor of my car so the boxe/carriers don't slide around. It's a must have, very inexpensive, and reusable. ![]()
Hi my husband just bought me an Oneida cupcake carrier it's my back to school in mind kinda gift. I make so many cupcakes!!!! Well I can't wait to use it but you can carry 1 or 2 dozen in the same carrier I can see why getting this might be a problem since you might want to have your carrier back. At least you can use the carrier and drop off the cupcakes and take the carrier with you. Anyways thought that might help although I have not used my carrier so don't know how it will work. I have seen them at WalMart you can also see if you can get one on Ebay
