This may have been asked before. Is it possible, has anyone tried it?

I would think so, as long as you've taken into consideration the detail of the OUTLINE of the pan! For example, the Castle pan (by Wilton) has several turrets on the "top" of the pan... I would just be extra careful when it comes to unsturdy elements such as those! Good luck! Let us know how it works out! icon_smile.gif

I did this with the Bart Simpson cake in my photos. It worked pretty well, but it was a little difficult lining up the little spikes for his hair.
