I asked my husband to make me a spray booth for airbrushing and he asked for plans. Does anyone have any simple plans for a collapsible spray booth to keep the airbrush overspray to a minimum?

Did you ever go to a science fair at school? Remember those posterboard stand-ups everyone used to post their data on? Looks like a three panel room separator screen? I have used one of those and it works great thumbs_up.gif . Also serves as a backdrop for pictures (turn it around and use the side that doesn't have paint spray all over, unless that is the look you're going for...). Easy to make, cheap, and effective!

This link to Earlene's website gives very detailed instructions on making an airbrushing cabinet. Hope it helps!

You'll have to let me know what you end up doing and how well it works. Not to the point that I airbrush anything yet but would like the info when needed.

Good luck!

yeah yeah yeah!! The science fair setup would be perfect!!! I think I'll mesh that with a small fan and some dryer vent ducting to remove the overspray to outside. I have a window over my kitchen sink and one on the other side of my work area so if the ducting could be long enough to reach to the window and I'd be set!!

I'm already going to Michaels and/or Joanns today and there's a HD near by so yippee for me!! I'll post how it works out.

Thanks!!!!

That sounds like it would work well, I just can't picture it all. Do you think you could post a pic when it's all done?
