I was at the farmers market yesterday and these two women were there shopping and mentioned that I'd done a cake for a friend of theirs. I recognized the name but wasn't sure. They said that I'd done a wedding cake and that she'd just raved about how wonderful it was. Now, I've only done two wedding cakes since moving out here so I knew right off which one it was. I hadn't heard anything back from her and it's been almost a year now but apparently she told everyone but me how much she loved it. It's always nice to hear back about a cake...even a year later
