My dh took me to the outdoor flea market this morning. It was a little hot but glad we went. I found a mini stand up bear pan from wilton for $1.00 and a jack-o-lantern pattern muffin pan from wilton also for $1.00. I went on the wilton site when I got home to see the different uses for this pan when we got home. I am excited about using them both for the first time. I have a lot of ideas to work on now just have to find time to do them all.
I enjoy going to yard sales to look for cake supplies. I spent this past weekend on the 127 yard sale (the worlds longest yardsale) and found quite a few cake pans for $1 - $3. I bought a glass cake stand for $12 as well.
Wow, I've never thought to check the local flea markets and I stay on the edge of town so there are so many surrounding cities that I could check out. This is great. Thanks craftst3. I love your username too!!
I absolutly LOVEEEEE flea markets! I had never been to one until this past march when my boyfriend and I stayed 10 days with my granparents down in florida. We went to SEVERAL flea markets and I had SO much stuff I couldnt take it all back with me!! I had to send it home with them (they stay down for the winter so I had to wait for them to come home as it all wouldnt fit on the airplane with me 
)
Now, my grandma is an avid garage saler (i am too but she goes WAY more than I do) so she alwwayyyss picks me up stuff everywhere. I have several cake carriers and stands that she gets for a few dollars. I also have so many pans - i havent even used 1/2 of them. So she keeps my collection growing which I dont mind at all
