Opinion On Second Go Round Wood Floor Cake

Hi! Well...I tried to take the advice that was given last night and improve the looks of the wood floor. What I'm wondering is if it looks better??!! icon_confused.gif

Please send opinions and what could be improved upon...besides the few "wavy" boards! icon_razz.gif In the pics, it looks as if it isn't smooth and flat on the top...but it is. There are just a few boards that got soft and bendy..dang it! icon_cry.gif

TIA for your help! I have to have this finished...100th b-day today! I'll be putting all the pieces together soon....wish me luck!

This is the base for a gardening cake I'm making for my gr grma's 100th b-day today. You can see the other pieces that will into it in my photo gallery...I hope it turns out!

It looks like real wood flooring!!! ""WOOD"" you like to come over and do my floors?? LOL Great cake and have a wonderful time at Gr Grma's b'day party. She'll love this!!! Let her know we at CC wish her a very Happy Birthday with many more to come!!!!!

That is so much better - unbelieveable - well done you it really looks just like wood. Did you start again from scratch or adjust what you'd already done?

You nailed it! It looks awesome. Please share with us how you made the the wood grain more defined and knot holes.
