Hi everyone,
After a bit of a break from Cake Decorating, I'm back at it
I have a baby shower cake due in a couple of days and my customer wants a pair of fluffy baby booties on top of the cake. How do I make these??? Any help you can give me will be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Lazy_Susan

Susan what in the world are you doing up? And why the break from decorating? You were on a roll. Give me a sec. I have a link for you.
This link will take you to a tutorial on Sugarcraft. I think it is what you are looking for.

Sorry about the tough times Susan. Decorating in any form always helps get my mind off of things.
I have used Twinkies as my base for booties. When I'm out of twinkes, I always keep cupcakes in the freezer for odds and ends or extra cake. I just keep them stored well. I use a cupcake at the top of the bootie to make it look like the sock part. Or you can cut and trim cake and glue the pieces with icing. Just another idea.
