Hi! I tried to get the look of wood flooring for my cake and wondered if I could get some feedback about how real it looks?? I am so cotton picky...picky...that I'm stressed that this is not so good. There are a few seams that I need to "fix" too.

I'd love some constructive criticism here! Good...bad...no comment?? TIA!! icon_lol.gif

I think it looks great. Maybe if you were to make the indents for the groves a little thicker or darker somehow it would make it stand out more.

Good work.

I think it looks great. and i think mrssambo and sundine2 are right. Knot holes and darker grooves would be the way to go.

Good job! icon_biggrin.gif

I agree - colours are good but not enough knot holes and the grooves need 'grouting' with either a a darker or lighter line of icing. Colette airbrushes on lines to get a wood look. I'll say this though - it looks very tasty, kind of fudgy - mmmm!
