Hi All,

I'm new to the baking arena (been doing this for only 2 years) and I have a recipe for red velvet cake that tastes good (everyone says it does). However, it is not as moist as my other types of cakes, nor as I would like it to be, and sometimes crumbles. Can someone tell me how to fix these problems and get the same consistency everytime? Thanks!!!

Welcome to CC. U shoudl post the recipe and maybe someone can look at it and tell what you may need to adjust.

One thing with scratch cake consistancy is the consistancy of your mixing methods and measurements
