Is it possible to mix dust with buttercream for a sparkle finish? I have seen many cakes on here that look like this I just don't know how to do it. I don't want it for the entire cake just the details.

Thanks!

I don't know the answer to this question but would like to! Here's a bump for you!

Nope, not possible. If you mix it in, you won't get the finish your looking for. I paint it on buttercream all the time with a paint brush. Sometimes straight from the bottle, sometimes thinned with a little water or vodka.

Keonicakes - The brush doesn't damage the buttercream?

Paint it on crusting buttercream using a natural soft sable brush.
