I love the effect of the diamond impression mats on cakes but have never used one. How in the world do you get it matched up around a cake...especially a square cake? Any help or tips anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That is the problem I always have. I have made 2 of these cakes (purple one in my photos with the crown). When they meet in the back, there is just somewhat of an overlap and mine do not match up perfectly. I just make that the "back" of the cake - if you can really have a back on a round cake.

thank goodness every cake has a back!!!! LOL. i start at the back and "roll" it around to the front for round cakes. it can be used on fondant or a crusted buttercream. you can either press gently with your hands or use a small wooden roller over it to press the pattern in
