Last week I was stressing about doing this Spiderman cake. The pic on the invitation was not very good at all. So I asked everyone here at this wonderful place to help and this is what I came up with http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&pos=-55509
Thanks everyone for all your help, I love you all for your help and support. I know the cake is not perfect, but it was fun to make and they loved it.

Looks great! Did you use a styrofoam head?

You did a great job thumbs_up.gif

I used to live in Smyrna. The wig shop I bought my wig head at, the one you see in the tutorial at http://frostingfun.blogspot.com , is pretty close to you so if you decide to make another, let me know and I'll give you directions to the shop.

Yes, it is a wig head with no face made of styrofoam. These are very hard to find because they have faces now. There was some on ebay, but by the time I got the wonderful idea from a cc'er, I didn't have time to wait. It is really an easy cake to make. Just a little tip: After you ice the head, let it crust and then smooth it. I waited until the next day and it was impossible. Thanks for the comments.

LIsa: I believe you are the one that gave me the idea to do this cake. Thank you so much. They loved it, the little boy turned 4 and he was shocked, he didn't know what to say. Thanks again and if I make another one, I will let you know. Where did you live in Smyrna? It has really grown

I made one for my 4yo nephew and he loved it too!

I lived on Aberdeen Parke Drive about 10 years ago and it has grown a lot along with La Vergne and Murfreesboro. I don't think they can build the houses fast enough.
