Hi. I have a customer who would like a recipe for a "good- yet not so sweet frosting to put on top of a graduation cake." (I don't sell cakes, only edible images, so I definitely don't mind giving her one). Are there any frosting recipes that you would recommend?

I plan to give her the (buttercream with real butter for decorators recipe, but I didn't know if that would be too sweet for her. I don't think it is, but I was hoping to have another recipe to offer her as well, and then she can choose. Does anyone have a "good - but not so sweet recipe they really like?"

Thanks!

The meringue butter creams (ie Sylivia Weinstock recipe) are really good and not too sweet in my opinion!
