I am trying to find larger cookie cutters.. not the typical 3" cutters, but more like 4 1/2 " to 5 " to use for holidays as gifts, stocking stuffers, etc... I know that I can get copper cutters at about $9 a piece, I was however trying to not spend that much per cutter. Any suggestions?

Try www.coppergifts.com. They have some huge cookie cutters there. They are all copper cutters, so they get pricey. I've ordered from them and they are great. They even make custom cutters to your specifications.
I also have purchased and had custom cutters made from Copper Gifts, they do an excellent job! I was trying to get away from spending $9 per cutter, however it seems that most aluminum cutters are rather small. I do have a couple of the plastic sets that Wilton sells at the specific holiday time, however I was looking for a wider variety. Thanks for the feedback... 
If you don't mind the tin cutters this place sells them as cheap as 0.99 (for a 4in).
