I had my first cake order for this past Saturday, I wasn't happy with the way it turned out 
It was for my brother's SIL's 40th Bday! He called me late Saturday afternoon and told me that EVERYONE loved it and asked if I make a lot of $$$$ and get a lot of business, he told them no that I was just starting out (slowly), they (her side of the family) told him I should. Which made me feel a lot better! I am glad that it tasted good, because I wasn't pleased with the deco.
Well long story short, they fired their old cake lady and hired me!!!!
