Filling And Slicing Wondermold Cake?

Do you guys fill cakes made in the wondermold pan? I'm not talking about round cakes you might put under it, just the wondermold itself.
I'm thinking if I cut it in half horizontally to fill, how would I slice the cake to serve? One slice from top to bottom would be too big. If I cut it in half to serve and the filling is in the middle, then I would have another problem.
Would you do 2 layers of filling? One at 1/4 way down the cake and one at 3/4 way down? Would that make a very wobbly doll cake?
Help!
I think there have been several discussions on this topic, so you might want to search for other ideas. When I worked in a bakery, they would not fill a wonder mold because it just gave too much room for error. there would be an obvious bulge where you added the filling that icing may not cover. Also transporting it could be a major problem. IMHO if they want added flavor to a wonder mold get strawberry ice cream!!!
If you try it and it works I'd love to know how you did it. I usually reccommend cutting it like a wedding cake in two layer or really thin slice of the whole mold. Good luck with it.
I always fill my wondermold (princess cakes) and have never had a problem with bulge. But then I pipe a high enough dam of icing so that this doesn't happen. Best of luck to you!
