I've seen a few people mention that they microwave their tips to clean them. How does that work? What exactly do you do?

I have some gooey tips I have to clean tonight, and if this process works well, I'd love to try it! Thanks! icon_lol.gif

From what I've read others say they do, you put them in a bowl, cover them totally with water, and microwave them for a few minutes.

Place tips in a microwave safe dish and make sure you completly cover with water. Add a couple drops of soap and microwave for 2 min. They should come out clean and very hot.

I've done it before. You put the tips in a microwave safe bowl, cover them with water and add a squirt of liquid detergent. Then you microwave for a couple of minutes.

I always put mine in a netted bag in the dishwasher-very simple cleanup as well.

Can't answer the question about microwaving on high. My microwave just has one power setting.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Must be that if the tips are completely covered in water, it will be alright?!!
