Does This Cake Has Too Much Green?

Hi everyone:
I made this cake for my good friend and I know she likes green and I think maybe it's too much green. What is your opinion?

it is a lot of green, but I bet your friend will love it, and your flowers and borders are really pretty. I like the green myself....fave color icon_biggrin.gif

Nope. I think it looks great. I love your white roses against the green, they really stand out.

I think it looks fine.


But, if the borders, decorations, etc were in shades of green........that would have been too much.

I think it is very pretty. Looks very much "alive" with all this summer heat/drought.

I really like layered colors of the same color. Kinda like when you do white on white with a wedding cake, I have always thought that was so elegant and beautiful! I think sometimes there is overkill with too many colors!

Just my opinion, but I think you cake looks great! usaribbon.gif

This cake caught my eye in the "newest photos" column even before I read this post. I love the green and white.

It is a lot of green, but definitely not too much! And I also like the white roses on the green, very Irish icon_wink.gif . I'm sure your friend will love it!

Love the flowers and leaves. Too much green is in the eye of the beholder.
