This seems to be a matter of opinion... I know lots of people like DH, but I've found that BC rises a lot better for me.

I use BC more than any but I doctor the heck out of a mix so it's unrecognizable most of the time. But I get more consistency out of BC.

I use DH and BC equally. It just depends on the flavor base I want as for some of the flavors (like lemon) they don't both have them (at least at my local grocery).

Whatever is at BJ's (warehouse club) when I go!!! I have Betty Crocker in my cabinets now. I bought a pack of 6 cake mix boxes for $4.49....I think its the best I can do with out coupons...Usually the cheapest I can get them at the grocery store is $1 each.

I use DH when using a mix. My local grocery has had them 10 for 10 the last few weeks and I stocked up.....well the other day when I was at Wal-Mart I saw they sell DH for 88 cent a box icon_surprised.gif ! I wasn't happy, guess I know where to buy it from now on!

I've noticed that while Pillsbury is usually cheaper than DH or BC, it makes less better as well. It also doesn't seem to hold up very well under weight, even just buttercream! Between DH and BC, I also use what is available based on flavor at the grocery store. Though my husband's favorite cake (flavor and consistancy) is the store brand marble cake!! icon_razz.gif

I only use Betty Crocker. I didn't have very good results with Duncan Hines. I got lucky and stocked up the other week when they were 4 for $5. icon_biggrin.gif

I buy my BC at Wal Mart for $.88 each

I am currently testing to find differences between Pills and BC since Pills is $.88 at Target icon_rolleyes.gif

I usually go between pilsbury and DH. I like them both. When I send my husband for mix, he gets pilsbury and when I get mix I usually get DH...LOL

I always use DH. I tried BC once recently and didn't like the results, but I would give it another try. I'll probably pick up another box when I am at the store stocking up, but DH has never failed me!

(I buy mine at Walmart too!!!) icon_lol.gif
