Dizzy,
Try freewebs.com. My son is a genius when it comes to building websites! He can't wait to do one for me, but that's a little ways off yet. Hope that helps.

I just used freewebs also (recommended by someone on cc.com--thanks!!!). Don't love the way the pictures came out, but I think it looks good for a free site.

I recommend ZenCart or JoomLa. But for more of a photo heavy site, I recommend Joomla, easier to update.

Freewebs is great!!! I upgraded just the other day.. Although it was just fine with the free one.. The only thing was limited to how many photos I uploaded. And I wasnt able to add my own photo to my site.. for 43 bucks a year I now have unlimited photos and I also have other extra stuff.. SO much fun!!! Give it try.. It so simple with Freewebs.com
Check mine out!

Hey dizzy,

Were you looking for free or a good provider that can host a cgi (shopping cart for example)? I have three sites parked on TigerTech, and they do it all for a reasonable price. Very dependable server.

Do you know HTML or are you looking for a web editor software?

I will take a look at everyone's suggestions. I don't know html but am learning. Right now I am cooking up a storm to have nice pictures for my portfolio. I did not always think about a business in the begining and don't have pictures of all my creations.. icon_sad.gif . But the fun part is the cooking and decorating!
