Can I make sea shells from a chocolate mold using fondant? I found the molds but don't want to use chocolate. Thanks for your help.

I dust the mold with cornstarch before putting in the fondant so it comes off easy.

I've never used pearl dust or color dust do the fondant shells need to dry before I put the dust on them? Thanks for your comments.

I find they take color better when dry. Luster dust will look good on the shells as it adds shine.
