I am going to be making 3 cakes, displayed on the new Wilton cakes and more stand.
The 10" is going to be for my parents 41st anniversary, their colors were yellow, I was thinking of doing something like this

The second cake, 8" will be for my dad's birthday, he likes popeye and he rides a Harley, I found a few pictures of popeye on a motorcycle, might try a fbct or see about getting one made into an edible image.
The third cake 6", is also for my dad who just had open heart surgery(5 bypasses) last Tuesday, I was thinking of doing a fbct of a human heart??
I need a saying for this cake, can't think of anything yet.
How could I tie all these ideas together?
Anyone have any differant ideas??

Think I know how i'm going to do the 1st 2, just need help with a saying for the heart cake, and maybe how to tie all of them together
Hopefully someone who is less sleepy than me can come up with something, but I am thinking they are all related because they are things he loves.
Here is a bump until I can think of something.
Maybe put some sort of chain (link) from each cake to another.. and put a place card near the cake that reads something like " The 3 Steps of Life" Love (parents), Happiness (his birthday), and Courage (his heart surgery)..
I think he will know what they mean and so will everyone else.. Good Luck!
