Okay, so I decided to see how many cups of batter BC and PB yeild. I made one PB with 1 small instant pudding added and 1/2 cup sour cream along with the normal ingrediants and it came out to just under 5 3/4 cups. Then, I made the BC with the same instant pudding and sour cream added and it came out to be right around 6 1/3 cups. Just thought some of ya might want to know!

I know DH with one small box of pudding and one extra egg added comes out to exactly 6 cups (with one taste left over)

Good to know with the BC and PB. Can I ask what flavors you used? I have used BC cherry chip before and I barely get 5 cups.

Question.....when you measured these cake mix batters did you use a liquid measure or a dry measure cup?

I used a 1 cup dry measure cup. The PB I made was Devils Food and the BC I made was Vanilla.

Keep in mind different flavors, not only different brands, make different amounts of batter.

Yes flavors also make a difference. I had stated my experience with the BC Cherry Chip flavor but forgot to go back and edit the flavors I have used with the DH.

So the flavors I have used with DH as stated in above post are:

Chocolate Fudge
White
French Vanilla
Yellow
Lemon
