I just made BC frosting, basic reciipe, crisco and water. I mixed on medium for about two minutes. Is this enough? It says not to overbeat but I don't know how much is too much or how much is not enough.

I question it because it is not really creamy. I can move the peaks with a spoon and they will kind of just break off. It is supposed to be in the stiff consistency stage right now so I guess the ? is. How long do you mix and at what speed? Sorry so long.

You don't say where you are..... is it humid? As for how long, let it go with your paddle attachement (assuming you have a KA) for agood 7- 12 minutes, depending on what it looks like.

Yes it is humid here in CT, about 100 degrees. Well, what you are describing means that I have mixed long enough, maybe too much.

KA, No, not yet.
