1/2 Sheet - Which Cake Mix
Decorating By Celinescakery Updated 18 Jun 2007 , 10:53am by Celinescakery
Hi there,
First of all I have to excuse for my english but I just moved to the US...![]()
I loved to bake and I love this page. Here's my first question - hope you can give me some advice.
I have to make a 1/2 sheet cake and the customer would like a yellow cake. Usually I make the WASC Cake because it's so good. Do you think I can use the yellow cake mix like the white one? Or has the white one a better consistency than the yellow one?
Thanks a lot ![]()
Thank you so much ... I will let you know about my "first american 1/2 sheet cake".
Best,

Hi and Welcome, Schabenmaul. ![]()
There have been a lot of threads recently about sheet cake sizing. What size is a 1/2 sheet (12x1
.
Here's info on sheet pan sizes, how to cut, how much batter to use, etc.:

@JanH: Yes the size is (12 x 1
- I figured out that this might be a 1/2 sheet cake right (wasn't that easy
))))
