Black Icing That Does Not Taste Terrible

Does anybody know of a way to make black icing not taste terrible?? Even just a little bit tastes terrible to me. TIA!

I start with a chocolate BC and I put black paste in it. The taste is not bad at all ... icon_rolleyes.gif

I've never noticed a bad taste to black icing, I usually make it the way Sue65 suggests... however, I was hoping someone knew of a way to make black icing that doesn't dye your mouth when you eat it!! I always hesitate to use black because of this.
