I got an order for a 3D cake of Einstein that a friend of a friend found on the internet. I have yet to locate it, and the cake is due Saturday. She had ordered it through Publix, and when she called today to double check her order, they told her they had been meaning to call her, "We can't do that cake..." So here I am to the rescue, and now I can't find it. She said it is made with the bear pan.
Any help would be appreciated...
here is a photo of one

not really sure about this whole 3d bear pan thing, this one doesnt look
like that. i'm sure you could do it though, lemme think a while about how
i would think to do it...
ok, so i have no idea where to find that photo, buuuuuuuuuuuuut...
i think you could make it out of the bear pan
basically, i think if you chop off the ears, and part of the raised arm, you could make it pretty einstein-y.
here is my sketch (i'm not doug), basically, frost in the hair, or have fondant pieces, the idea is to make his scruffy hair, then the ears and part of the arm are chopped off, keep part for his tongue. i based it off of the famous photo with his tongue out.
then fill out his shoulders with either cake or frosting, and he'll look fuller. i dont know if they mean a whole einstein or what, this is just a bust.
hahahahaha, my drawing is just so bad, anyway, here's the photo i'm talking about.

at cake #329. It's labelled as a "mad scientist", but this may be what your friend was talking about?
This is one of my favourite photos of all time..... Apparently Einstein was upset with all the photos the "paparrazi" was taking of him and stuck his tongue out at them. I would like to see the final product of this photo cake wise. I would love to make one.
Yeah! I got him finished and he turned out perfect. I think everyone was very pleased, especially with the price. I really stink at charging people, I let this one go for only $40 bucks. Uuggg...all the hours of work. But, I learned, I had fun, and I boosted my confidence for the three wedding cakes I have due the end of this month.
It looks so great! My husband is a physicist, and I was thinking of making him this Einstein cake for his birthday this year. That's why I remembered seeing the photo online, I had made a mental note of it so I could try making a cake like this for him. You did a really great job. I like the coordinating book. Thanks so much for posting your results.
