Cool the cake as normal, and then when you flip it out on a cooling rack, you can pull the nail out. Caution though, cuzz that sucker is hot!

When your cake has cooled down you will turn it upside down to get it out of the pan, right? Then you just pick up the flower nail, whitch is now on the top.
