My uncle will be retiring at the end of July and will also be turning 65 around the same time. My aunt is throwing him a big bash and asked me to make the cake. I was thinking 12 x 18 in size (or thereabouts). I need a creative way to combine the two reasons for the party. He doesn't really have any hobbies other than they have a pool and he does all the yard work. They also like to hit the casino fairly regularly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

What about a cake with a fondant figure of him sitting in the lounge at the casino?? I have no idea But I thought I would share what popped into my head when I read this. Good Luck and HTH's

Or you could make a swimming pool and him on an airbed floating in the water, in front of the cake a sign that says something like VIP ONLY (well change the VIP in to something that has to do with retirement, sorry not good with these things in another language icon_wink.gif )

Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

a casino theme is good. You could write something like "Retired, more time to spend in the casinos, less money to spend"

Linda,
That saying is perfect!!! I'll probably add something about his age in there too since it's his birthday like "65 and retired, more time...etc." Thank you thank you!!!
