Does anyone know what number the grass tip is? Also, what tip is good to use for water? Is a star tip good?

Grass is #233

One thing I've learned with water to give it a little realism....ice it one with a spatula then take your spatula and dab the tip of it in the "water" at the angle you want it to look like it's moving. icon_smile.gif

When I make water I usually do two shades of blue and white. I just run all three in horizontal lines of no particular order then run a spatula over the whole thing horizontally to blend the colors.

you can also add a little piping gel or corn syrup to the blue to give the shiny water look. icon_biggrin.gif

I highly recommend piping gel for the water. I made a cake with water last week - I first put down blue fondant where the water was going to be. Then I tinted my piping gel blue, and just spread it over the blue fondant. Worked like a charm and people loved it! A pic is in my photos.

I really like the piping gel for water too. Remember not to mix until it is all one color or if you do add streaks of color with a toothpick to make it look realistic. HTH

I want to make a pool and make it look like the water is overflowing from the pool. Can I still do that with piping gel do ya think?
