I needed to know if it is possible to store royal icing to practice with again later. How do I keep it from getting hard? Any help would be great !

Thanks !!!

I just keep it in a glass container (make sure you use vinegar to clean it to make sure there is no grease in it first!). It will last for weeks!

Thank you so much I will try that. I need it to last for weeks, maybe years (Ha-Ha)I need that much practice. I don't think that I will ever catch on to some of this.

I have kept mine in a plastic gladware container with the lid on, and I have also kept it in a plastic bottle (for icing cookies) for a couple of weeks and it stays a really nice consistency. I also read in my Wilton class book that you can store it for 2 weeks. I know you aren't supposed to store it in plastic, but I saw these cookie makers on Martha Stewart and they used the plastic bottles, so I tried it. Like I said, it stayed a nice consistency.
