These cake dummies were entered in my county fair this past week. I got firsts in all three categories and then took Best of Show with the whimsey wedding cake. Nobody could believe that I've only been decorating about three months. Took Wilton 2 & 3 but have learned the most from this incredible site. I also have a background in clay art and I think that has helped too! Thanks cake central members!!
Congratulations! I can't believe you did that after only three months. What was up with that middle cake, by the way? Is it supposed to be designed like that or did it collapse? It's hard to tell from the picture.

The middle cake is a roller coaster and there is a better pic of it in my gallery. There was a banner over one of the coasters but it melted on the way into the fairgrounds and I stupidly did not have a back-up plan! So off came the banner (it was made with edible paper and pixie stix - next time I'll use rice paper!) Thanks for the kudos! Your kind words mean more to me than any old ribbon!!
