I was asked to do some cupcakes for the nurses at an OBGYN clinic for this thursday I don't have any of my tips and stuff here with me so I am some what limited I was gonna do the cupcake rose boutque but i don't have the tip for it and i can not find one here at the stores, to get to a michaels it is an hour drive I only have access to a walmart near by Please any suggestions would be greatfull.... thanks in advance

I am new to this so this suggestion might be off the wall but here goes ?
What if you were to do MMF flowers you could do those by hand ?????

The only thing that came to mind was the scene in Patch Adams where he decorates the door...but unless you are close personal friends with these people, I wouldn't reccomend that!

if you have disposable bags, or even better, parchment bags, you could cut the tip of them like a tip, zigzags and all. won't work quite as well as a tip, but will do decently.

most grocery stores sell disposable bags and plastic tips. You can get them at walmart too.

Man, I have to refrain from making a really funny joke right now...lol.

Anyways, my easiest suggestion would be to ice them with a spatula, and then maybe by some of the ready-made colored icing, and get some of the tips that attach right on and do some simple swirls or flowers or something. Maybe add some sprinkles.

What about newborn baby cupcakes a piped blanket in varied colors and ta newborn head above with features and a pacifier

I would suggest you go to familyfun.com and do a search for cupcakes, they have some cute ones and most rely on candy and just basic frosting for decorating.

I have made the their frog cupcakes using gum drops for eyes - very cute!
