So I need to make this buttercream black. I can't use chocolate and I can't airbrush it cuz my airbrush color got up and walked away - so how else do I get a very dark black buttercream?

I'm making a pirate flag, so that shoudl give you an idea what I mean.

I think I would try mixing primary colors-blue, red, and yellow. That will give you brown, then add black gel to get the shade you want. It is easier to go from brown to black than it is to go from white to black.

can also add cocoa powder to get a chocolate frosting...then add black.

Can't use any chocolate - it gives the customer really bad reflux.
