Which Size Pans?

I'm new to this!! I will be making a cake this week, should serve about 30 people. I want to make to round cakes. Which size pans should I use? Thanx!!

Iwould use 12 inch rounds..2 layers

thanks alot.

I wasn't clear, but I want to make 2 stacked tiers.

I would then make a 12 and an 8 if you plan to make two tiers!! Remember the pieces are smaller than a regular slab cake .
