Does anyone have a recipe for a frosting similar in taste to cool whip that doesn't need to be refrigerated??? Or does anyone have a good buttercream recipe that they use with chocolate chip cookies? I can use the same old Wilton recipe but I was just looking for something different. thumbs_up.gif Thanks!

the only thing I can suggest, as far as cool whip, is Whip&Top. At a cake supply place, sold frozen and comes in quart size carton.

Buttercream: look in the recipe section of CC, there's plenty of recipes for bc there.

Rich's Bettercreme and Pastry Pride are both non-dairy, and are what the chain stores use for their whipped frosting.
