Has anyone ever used hi-ratio to make biscuits? I have HYMO hi-ratio shortening and on the box it says for cakes and icing. I was wondering if anyone has used hi-ratio to cut in with the flour for biscuits?
Thanks!!!

Has anyone ever done this?
Or used it to bake anything?

I have Sweetex and have used it very successfully in old-fashioned Southern biscuits. I have read that not all hi-ratio shortenings can be used for baking, so if yours specifies baking, then you should be okay.

I haven't used Hi-Ratio for biscuits but I used lard and they were the best I've ever made!

I prefer lard for my biscuits and pie crusts makes them flakier
