Does a six-inch single layer hexagon on top of a nine-inch single layer hexagon need dowel support? I plan to tort and fill both layers.TIA.
Some will tell you yes, some will tell you no but for me, being part of the better safe than sorry club, I would board it and dowel especially since you plan to torte and fill it will have a little weight to it. hth d
