Can someone please give me some tricks on how to get the beautiful shimmer look on fondant,, I have been trying but I seem to get streaks... my blush brush is a fluffy soft one, perhaps I am just not applying enough luster dust... and also how do they get the deep rich color.. Do they just paint it on. Im really not sure what I am doing wrong. But I can see the lines when I brush it on.. and I think it looks horrible. When I mix it with the vodka and paint it looks great but I dont always want to use it that way.. some times I just want to add a little to give it the "effect" Is there a tutorial out there that I missed or something.. or can someone please share there expirences.. I would very much appreciate it.

Load the brush with the dust and apply in circular motions over you surface until you are satisfied with the look. if you are not sure, take three GIANT steps back and look at it. No one but the decorator puts her/his face that close to a cake. We are way too critical on ourselves!

For deep tones, start with colored fondant to match the dust and save the cost factor... dust is not cheap!

Happy Baking!
