What Would Be A Good Cake To Go With A Pistachio Filling????

I would love to try a pistachio filling on a cake but I am not sure of what cake would compliment the filling. Any ideas? Please feel free to give your own personal opinion.

wish I could be of more assistance but my mind is a blank. There is a current thread going on called cake flavor combinations. It is probably a good place to find some ideas and / or ask for some. HTH

poppy seed, lemon poppy seed, orange, or spiced cake would be good.
