Here it is!! I just finished this cake for my sister in law. She is turning 15 and this is what she wanted. The bottom tier is orange with cream cheese filling, the middle is chocolate with cookies and cream filling, and the top is strawberry with bananna mousse filling. All is covered with crusting buttercream and mmf accents.

It was going GREAT until I went to put the top tier on. I have 2 small boys (4 and 8 months) and not paying attention, I put the top tier on upside down! icon_cry.gificon_rolleyes.gificon_mad.gif It took me a few minutes to figure out why it didn't look right! icon_confused.gif Then I had to take it off and try to fix it and put it on the correct way!!!

Anyways, let me know what you all think!!

I think it looks great! I love the colors you used; they go well with the topsy-turvy effect. One day I'll be brave enough to try something like that LOL icon_biggrin.gif

Very cool and funky and fun! I really like that border around the middle tier; it looks like one of those chunky wooden necklaces.

icon_biggrin.gif Thanks to everyone for your kind words!! icon_redface.gif I'm VERY new to cake decorating and some of the work I've seen others post on here inspire me. This was my first "real" topsy turvy cake. The other one in my photos was just a dummy cake that I was practicing with. As most of you know, the dummies are much easier to make look good. You don't have to worry about cake crumbs or weight or anything like that. This was a real challenge for me, but I feel really good about it. Now I just have to transport it 25 miles away tomorrow for the party. Any tips on that would be great! Wish me luck! icon_razz.gif And thanks again everyone!!

That is a great cake. I love topsy turvy, and the colors really light it up. Besides that, it sounds delish!
