Does anyone know if transparency film or laminate is food safe.

I would like to take my images that i use for fbct / colorwflow and either

* print them directly onto the transparency film (this way i always have the image in reverse too!)

*or take the image and have it laminated.

im thinking if i use one of these methods i can continuously use the same file i/o re-printing every time.

any thoughts?

I would do the laminating.
I am thinking that the transparency plastic is not good to use against the frosting and the ink could possibly get into the frosting if you are using that same side? These are just my thoughts on it!

I have used laminating with no problems. It's nice and easy to clean and disinfect.

How about transfering your design onto rice paper by tracing it with fine tip food markers. You could fill-in with using one of the star tips. icon_smile.gif
