How do I get a bright neon icing color? Like hot pink or orange.

americolor makes neon colors. They call the "electric". I have a set of them and love them. I have a cake in my photo gallery where i used them. It is the whimiscal cake.

Wilton too makes neon colors - you get them in a little box in the bakery aisles in most grocery stores. However, if you mix it with buttercream, they are darker and brighter than the normal food colors, but not neon, but they really show up bright if you paint / color fondant with them.
