I am wondering how many of you show your product at these shows? Do you feel that you get your moneys' worth. I am contemplating having a booth at one in the fall. I will be doing cupcake towers and cookies. The booth is $200.00. Interested in your feedback. Thanks

it is a great price. I am getting $100.00 discount. There is a much larger show that charges $600.00 per booth. Being in October this will allow me time to research decorating ideas and wedding trends for colours. I found a couple of cupcake site from Asia that have unbelivable wedding cupcake tiers. Any suggestions on buying or making tiers. I can't wait to decorate my booth!!

I only have one suggestion. I would not attend these shows if you are not "legal" where you live. Other decorators there may turn you in, and be very upset if you are not legit.

my shop is ready to be inspected. The other Cake vendor in the show works from her apartment. I know of at least 10 caterers and bakers who are not legal in Halifax.

sugarbean is right. Don't do the bridal show until you're legal. I've heard several times about how legal bakers turned in illegal bakers and they weren't invited back to their shows again until they're proved legal. I'm planning to do the booth at the bridal show right after I become legal next month. Good luck.
