Should I Refrigerate All Butter Buttercream?

Hi,
I made a cake and the frosting is Buttercream. The recipe is
1 stick of unsalted butter
3/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons of heavy cream
1 1/4 cup of confectionary sugar
I'm about 90% done with the cake which I have put in the fridge for the overnight. I am going to put some final touches on it tomorrow before I take it to the party. I'm wondering if I need to put the leftover buttercream in the fridge tonight or can i leave it out and use it in the morning?
It is very warm here, about 80 degrees.
Thanks in advance ![]()
The way I judge if my buttercream has to be refrigerated is......if any ingredient that I put in my buttercream to make it has to be refrigerated, then the buttercream has to be refrigerated......therefor, your buttercream has heavy cream, so it would need to be in the fridge!

I would put in in the fridge since it has the cream in it! HTH
