I just made...or at least think I just made some chocolate candy clay (ummm more like chocolate ca-ca).....anyway ....I melted it....stirred in the corn syrup until it was blended......and its a big clump of...well ca-ca! icon_cry.gif ...sorry but I cant help but icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif too!!!

it looks greasy....oily even....I pinched some off and its all oily!!!

what did I do wrong??? icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif ( icon_lol.gif )

Keep kneading it. The oil will redistribute amongst the chocolate and it will be ok. Roll it into a ball and let it rest for a while, you can even put it in the fridge for a few minutes, but it will get very hard if you do that. You may have to nuke in the microwave for 30 seconds or so if you refrig it.

Mine was like that and if you search the posts here on CC, you will find several topics on it.

It is suppose to look like that. YOu have to do a lot of kneading.

Wrap it up in plastic wrap and let is "season" overnite. Then try to mold something. It will work much better. You have to let it set a few hours.

The recipe I have says to leave it on wax paper over night. It will set back up then you can kneed it to make it workable.

ummm, IM kneading and there is a puddle ...actually a bowl of juice from this stuff!!!!

I even tried wrapping it in paper towels to help absorb some!!
