I Have Found Nutella-Now What Do I Do With It?

A few months back there was some talk of Nutella on the forums. I finally found some at the grocery store. It is pretty yummy by itself but I was wondering what else you all do with it? I can't find the origional threads this was talked about in. Can you mix it with buttercream or do you use it straight as a filling?
I have used it straight as a filling. I have mixed it with Cocolate Fudge flavored DH frosting for a filling. You can also take sugar cookies and spread nutella on them and them put a scoop of ice cream and sandwich them together for really yummy ice cream sandwiches. There are lots of things you can do with it!
The possibilities are almost endless!
I like it with peanut butter. I bet a mixture of PB, Nutella, and BC(or with out BC) would make a fabulous filling for a dark chocolate cake covered with ganache.
Break out the milk!
It's also nice piped into the center of all kinds of pastries. You could fold it together with some cool whip to make a fluffy center of a cupcake.
YUM!
HTH,
Kat
put it on fresh toste bread and much away!!
MMMMMMmmmmmMMMMmmmm
Thanks everyone I want to try it mixed with choc. buttercream as a filling!
Melt it over very hard ice cream!
Drizzle it on a decorated cake!
Mix it into a milkshake!

I used it straight as a filling and it was fabulous! PB and Nutella sandwich...warm it up a little and did strawberries in it...eat it right out of the jar! oh also...check The Food Network's site for Everyday Itallian recipes, she uses Nutella a lot.
Nutella on toast is sooo good. a nice hot cup of coffee... mmm... alright now I'm off to the kitchen ![]()
Oh Doug Oh Doug Oh Doug! You naughty boy!
I was looking for recipes!
Perhaps I should make myself more clear next time ![]()
(Was not expecting that from you!) (Would have expected that from Dale!
)
I have added Nutella to crepe batter and made chocolate crepes. It would definatly be good in one of those crepe cakes like Martha S. makes! Mmmm...delicious!
Put it on anything and everything you can get your hands on!!! Nutella rules! ![]()
I've been to Italy twice and I got adicted to it. They serve it for breakfast there. There's a great restaurant in NYC that makes a dessert panini with it. Just spread it on two pieces of crusty, sliced Italian bread and grill it in a panini maker or in a skillet with a weight on top. Hot Nutella paninis...yuuuuuuuuuuuuum. ![]()
It's also good between two home-baked cookies. Nutella cookie sandwiches!!!
tastes good when you dip strawberries,bananas or pretzels in it. YUMMY stuff that Nutella
WOW it appears as if I am the only one in the universe that hadn't heard of it before now!
The good thing about this is all of my customers and friends will think I am a cooking genius
Uh eat it straight out of the jar? With a spoon? Forget even getting out the bread and the toaster
waste of time LOLOL
Staple part of the diet as a kid in Germany (even though I grew up with no white sugar go figure- nobody had to know though
)
