Will not work!!! At least for me.
I switched to the Wilton brand meringue powder and I'm astonished at the difference!! I can't believe I'm saying this.....but I actually really enjoyed making these!!! Thank you sooooo much for all the advice. I really do appreciate it , you have helped tremendously!
The royal roses for daughters wedding are now done....on to other flowers next. I just wanted to tell you I FINALLY GOT IT!!!

(((thanks everyone))) Yes she is VERY pleased with them. I was a bit disapointed that I didn't have more to do....they really were very enjoyable to do...once you get the right stuff!! I made several buds of various sizes to put here and there. Mostly because it was just fun. Nice clean edges and defined etc.
The rest of the day was spent making the gumpaste flowers and starting the, hopefully, floating butterflies and dragonflies.
